Chelsea rookie Kenneth Omeruo has moved to Middlesbrough.The Nigeria defender, 20,has joined Middlesbrough's coach Aitor Karanka and is to stay there till the end of this season.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho, who had Karanka as his assistant at Real Madrid, knows Omeruo needs first-team football in World Cup year.
The Standard Liege product was a member of his country’s Africa Cup of Nations-winning side last year.
Boro boss Karanka has been linked with a string of Chelsea youngsters, including Dutch Under-21 defender or midfielder Nathan Ake, 18, who signed a new five-year contract with the Blues in August.
