Stephen Keshi who recently signed a new two-year deal with the NFF after a long and period of uncertainty, has asked for corporation from the members of the media stating that he apologizes if he offended them in the process of doing his job as Super Eagles coach.
His reappointment did not go down well with a section of the football association in the country and some members of the Nigerian media who suggested that the NFF should have appointed a fresh face to help propel the Nigerian national team to the next level.
The boss said in a statement :
“If only we can live with honesty then everything will work fine. So I don’t have a problem with the media, I never had and if you guys (media) think I have done something you do not like, I’m sorry.
“For one moment I never thought I had problems with the media. I’ve been friendly with the media but you can be friendly with someone and he feels he doesn’t want your friendship,” Keshi said.
