Real Madrid
have been handed a fitness boost after Colombia's doctor confirmed
James Rodriguez escaped serious injury during their 1-1 draw with Peru
on Tuesday.
James was withdrawn on 59 minutes after hurting his knee in a
collision with an opposition player, prompting fears he could be set for
a lengthy absence.
However, further tests carried out after the game have confirmed he has suffered no lasting damage.
Colombia's doctor Carlos Ulloa said :
"He took a big knock to his knee
but he is in no danger. We will see how he feels today but he is fine."
