BREAKING NEWS :NFF REJECTS KESHI'S LIST OF SUPER EAGLES PLAYERS TO FEATURE IN THE WORLD CUP.
The Nigerian Football Federation has rejected the provisional world cup list provided by Super Eagles coach Steven Keshi.
Report says that the list was rejected as a result of the absence of the names of experienced players like Osaze,Yobo and Obasi.
This was what the technical committee of the NFF had to say about the issue :
"we were shocked to discover that Keshi submitted a 40 man list, excluding Osaze,Yobo and Obasi, and he claims to have left them out due to injury claims, technical and fitness issues"
"we are not really convinced with those reasons because even though Keshi is the coach and has the final say, this is a world cup and Mr president is watching with keen interest, our preparations because he has great expectation from the world cup team to do well in Brazil."
"we therefore have to ensure things are done properly as regarding the players who are the actors that will execute the matches at the Brazil cup".
Paul Bassey of the NFF committee has revealed that the NFF has given Keshi some time to do more consultations as regarding the list of the Super Eagles team that will feature in the world cup, because he said no country going to the world cup has released their list, therefore the NFF is not in a hurry to release theirs.
.More reviewing and consultations need to be done.
What could be the problem again, I thought Keshi said he had buried the hatchet.
