About fourteen Nigerian football fans were killed,26 injured and 15 in critical condition at a viewing centre while watching the World Cup game between Brazil and Mexico on Tuesday night in a suicide bomb attack,which occured in Damaturu, Yobe state.
Reliable sources have it that the suicide bombers arrived in a tricycle carrying the bombs, before letting it explode at the viewing centre.
Survivors are presently receiving treatment at the Sani Abacha Specialists Hospital in Damaturu, while the incident is being investigated by the Nigeria Police Force.
Some security concious states in the North-Eastern part of the country had prior to the start of theWorld cup tournament,banned football viewing centres from showing any World Cup games in
order to avoid attacks from the dreaded terrorist group.
Friends please try as much as possible to avoid watching any match at all at viewing centres,everyone's life is precious.
