Cesar Menotti (Argentina's Ex-coach) recently lashed out at Spanish champions Real Madrid for ill-treating their winger Angel Di Maria and said Di Maria has proven to be a better player than Lionel Messi and Ballon d'or winner Christiano Ronaldo this 2014.
Menotti wrote in his column for DPA Global Media Services :
"I think Di Maria should be considered as the best player in Spain over the past few months, outshining even Messi,"
"The way Madrid have treated Di Maria is an injustice,they signed James Rodriguez in an attempt to sell more jerseys, he's a marketing product for Madrid."
Di Maria, yet appears to be surplus to requirements following the arrival of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos this summer.
Angel Di Maria who joined Spanish giants Real Madrid from Benfica in the summer of 2010, has made over 100 appearances in La Liga for the Madrid team, and also played a key role in Madrid's successful Champions League campaign last season.
His stay at the Bernabeu contiues until June 2018, but may likely leave before then,since he has refused to sign a contract extension at the Bernabeu (as revealed by coach Ancelotti).
He may likely move to Manchester United,since Paris Saint-Germain backed out,saying Di Maria is too expensive.
