The striker, who is a free agent after his release from Chelsea at the end of last season, is understood to be discussing a move to Chicago Fire
Didier Drogba has confirmed he is in talks over a possible move to a MLS club.
Chicago Fire have been identified as the most likely to secure the services of the Ivorian after missing out on the player three years ago before his transfer to Chinese side Shanghai Shenuha.
Drogba turned down a move to the Fire on that occasion but head coach Frank Yallop has refused to comment on whether the club had made contact with the four-time Premier League winner.
Drogba revealed he is deliberating his options in light of a move across the Atlantic
"I’m not aware of that situation with Inter,” the striker said. "Inter are a great club, and certainly if they were to contact me I’d gladly listen to their offer, but I’m currently in talks with a MLS club."
