Neymar may not feature at this summer's Copa America after Barcelona threatened to ban Brazil from selecting him for the tournament.
Before this time,there was a possibility that Neymar could feature in both the Copa America, the 100th anniversary of the tournament, and the Olympics being held later this summer in his home country.
But Neymar may now only feature in the Olympics in Rio after Barcelona President Jose Maria Bartomeu said that it would be 'impossible' for the him to also represent Brazil during the two competitions, and that the club will be sending an official letter to the CFB to inform them of their wishes.
The news will not only come as a major blow for Brazil, but also to the organisers of the Copa America who have heavily featured Neymar in advertisements for the tournament in the United States.
