Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, is pleased to have won her second ever Women's Africa Cup of Nations title, after the Super Falcons beat Cameroon 1-0 in Yaounde to win the 2016 edition of the competition.
Oshoala admits that it was a tough battle landing another AWCON title for Nigeria in Cameroon, but is pleased to have won.
While speaking in an interview on Sunday at a parley where the team was hosted by Emzor Pharmaceutical, she says the wealth of experience in the team made the difference at the tournament.
"It was a tough tournament, but I'm happy we won and this is my second AWCON title,"
"We (Nigeria) were the team to beat and that made it tough, but we had a good team packed with so much experience to land another title,"
She also praised coach Florence Omagbemi for her influence on the team.
Oshoala who is also a brand ambassador for Emzor thanked the brand for their massive support.
She emerged top scorer of the tournament with five goals, scored in five games at the tournament.
